Pink Christmas in July!!!

Good Sunday morning everyone!  I've been in a "Christmas in July" mode lately!!!  At the end of the holiday season last year, I was at our local St. Vincent DePaul thrift store, and they had all their seasonal decor at 90% off....so my repurposing side came out and I bought so much stuff!  Here's what I created this week.  I really need to remember to take "before" pictures from now on!

New Pieces

My creativity finally came back!  I've been in the process of trying to move my son out to Colorado...we went there in May to look for houses and he had a few interviews.  Now, next week, we're driving and moving him out there.  :(

While I was out there in May, my bestie took me thrifting...oh boy, did I get some awesome stuff!!!  Had to ship it back since it didn't all fit in my suitcase!!! I got some amazing bottles for my shaker snowmen...and picked up a ton of jewelry!!!

Here's some new things that will be in my Etsy shop soon!!!

I've decided I need a bigger house...I keep bringing more and more junk home!!!

The Steps to Completing my Shaker Snowmen!!!

I love creating snowmen!  There, I said it!!!  I collect them as well.  But creating them means giving each one their own personality!  

The heads were just made for these...and were drying!  

Their personalities were starting to come out...lol.  As you can see, earmuffs, cowboy hat, feathers, pearls...

Here's the finished crew!  Now I have to name them and take pictures so they can make their way to the Etsy shop!

I just love them...don't you?!!!

Also....I'll be putting up a discount code on my Etsy shop for Mother's Day...keep an eye out!

New Bracelets

Ahhhh....making jewelry is so relaxing...unless you have a super sized cut on your thumb and pushing on wire and beads is literally IMPOSSIBLE!!!!

I was cutting an onion on Sunday...and sliced right through my left thumb...needless to say, it makes it almost impossible to bend wire and bead! Here's a picture of my work table...I was trying to wire wrap that top bar of the the buckle necklace is front....not happening until I can get the cut healed just a little more...very frustrating!!!

I do love how it turned out before hand tho...I just don't like how the cross charms slide around...which is why I'm going to try the wire wrapping!  Stay tuned!

Here are some bracelets that I was able to finish last night...coming soon to the shop!

There's a hint of spring in the air here in Wisconsin...should be in the 50's on Saturday...YAY!!!  I'm thinking it's time to convert the closet in our spare room into my craft area...we'll see if THAT happens!!

New Designs!

Well, I made the decision to remove my jewelry designs that I had displayed at a local gift shop.  They will now all be listed on my Etsy website.  I'm so happy with this decision...but now everything needs to be photographed so they can be uploaded!

Trying to Get into the Valentine Spirit!

I have to admit, I really love Christmas and Winter.  If I could, I would keep my decorations up well into summer!  But alas, I took them all down last weekend. I don't have a ton of Valentine decor, but I was able to at least decorate one table.

I really love my pink tree!  I need to get busy and make some Valentine Putz houses for my Etsy shop.  I've actually make a few necklaces and bracelets...felt good to get back into the groove of jewelry!

Just need to get these uploaded to the website!  I miss making jewelry...for some reason, it's really relaxing!
