I have been creating like a crazy woman lately...I even squeeze in a few glues or paints before I leave for work in the morning ;)

These are made from green vintage wooden spools.

This was also a vintage wooden spool...love the snowman's expression!

This church is made out of ceramic...first time I've ever worked with that...I think it turned out pretty!

My Love for Bottle Brush Trees!!!!

I am so in love with anything that has to do with bottle brush trees...or sometimes, called sisal trees.  I just finished this new addition to my Etsy shop the other day...

I love how it turned out.  I bleached a few trees and now I'm going to try my hand at dying some of them.  We'll see how that turns out!!!  Here are a few crafts that I want to try:

I love those pastel colored ones!  And I have a ton of rhinestone brooches and old jewels that I've been collecting and I know I have some old vintage spools somewhere too!!!  I really need to clean up my crafting area...I might find some neat things I didn't know I even had!

I'm also participating in a Craft Show at Bain Manor in Kenosha...I'll need to put my items together to drop off on Saturday.  If you're in the area, please stop by!  The girls from Lulu Birds (where my jewelry is sold) will be manning our booth there!

So much to do...so little time to do it!!!

Barns...Barns...Pink Barns???

There is nothing more beautiful, in my eyes, than an old barn sitting way off in an empty field...in the winter.

I just love the thought of snuggling in front of a fire...a Christmas tree in the corner, all lit up....sipping a cup of hot coffee...ahhhhh, nothing better!!!

Oh how I want that first barn to be my house!!!!

New Snowman Designs!!!

I'll be the first to admit, I love creating new snowmen!  I've always loved collecting them...and now...creating them!  I found these old brass candlesticks at the thrift store, and I can't tell you why I thought they would be cute as snowmen, but I brought them home with me.

I scuffed them up a little and gave them a light coat of white paint...scuffed them some more and then dressed them up!  Ta da!!!!

This is Penelope!  She stands 9 1/2" tall!!

And here is Dee Dee!  She's 10 1/2" tall!
